This is a high-energy, structured training class built specifically for basketball players looking to gain an edge through proper movement mechanics and controlled explosive training.

0–10 min | Dynamic Warm-Up

• Movement prep
• Hip mobility
• Ankles & knees activation
• Light coordination drills


10–25 min | Plyometric Fundamentals

(Group stations – 5 groups of 5 athletes)

• Jump mechanics (2-foot & 1-foot takeoff)
• Landing control (force absorption)
• Low-to-high power jumps
• Reactive pogo hops

Focus: technique before intensity


25–45 min | Explosive Power Stations

5 rotating stations (5 minutes each)

  1. Box jumps / depth jumps

  2. Lateral bounds (basketball closeout movement)

  3. Medicine ball power throws

  4. Single-leg explosion drills

  5. Resistance or banded acceleration

Coaches emphasize form, speed, and intent.


45–55 min | Basketball-Specific Application

• Explosive first-step drills
• Jump → sprint combinations
• Defensive slide → vertical contest
• Finish-through-contact movements

Direct translation to game actions.


55–60 min | Core & Cool Down

• Core stabilization
• Mobility work
• Recovery breathing
• Injury prevention focus
